Philanthropy

As a chapter, we actively find ways to raise money for our philanthropy of women's heart health. This is such an important cause as millions are affected and heart disease is the leading cause of death in women. All of our fundraising gets donated to both the Alpha Phi Foundation and the American Heart Association. The Alpha Phi Foundation raises awareness and funds to advance women's lives everywhere and promotes cardiac aid by funding research and educational programs.

Our biggest event we annually host is the Red Dress Gala  where friends and family attend along with the chapter to raise money for the American Heart Association. This past year's gala raised around $26,000 for women's heart health. Other events we do on campus include but are not limited to Alpha Phifa, Mac & Phi's, Move your Phi't, King of Hearts, Philates, along with tabling events and co-sponsored events with other organizations on campus.
